Summary

We are seeking a curious and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing remote team. You will play a key role in extracting valuable insights from educational data to inform strategic decision-making, improve user experience, and support the overall growth of Unacademy. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis techniques, excellent communication skills, and a desire to contribute to a dynamic and impactful organization.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and organize educational data from various sources
Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns in user behavior, learning engagement, and platform usage
Develop and implement data visualization techniques to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
Build and maintain data pipelines to automate data collection and analysis processes
Support A/B testing initiatives and analyze results to optimize platform features and functionalities
Partner with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing) to translate data insights into actionable strategies
Stay up-to-date on data analysis trends and tools, and implement innovative solutions to enhance data-driven decision-making

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience in data analysis or a related role
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (Python, R, SQL)
Strong understanding of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mind
Curiosity and a passion for learning new things
