Summary

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Information Security Executive to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures to safeguard our systems, data, and applications from cyber threats. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, proficiency in security tools and technologies, and a commitment to staying current with evolving threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security risks
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive information security policies and procedures
Manage and configure security tools and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.)
Analyze security incidents, investigate potential breaches, and implement corrective actions
Educate and train employees on cybersecurity best practices and awareness
Stay up-to-date on emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities, recommending mitigation strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, development) to integrate security measures into core processes
Maintain detailed documentation of security policies, procedures, and incidents

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum 2 years of experience in information security or a related role
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001)
Proficiency in security tools and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, vulnerability scanners)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation
