Summary

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you'll be a key member of our security team, responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our data. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of duties, from proactively monitoring security systems and analyzing logs for suspicious activity to identifying vulnerabilities in our IT infrastructure and recommending appropriate security controls. You'll also be involved in incident response activities, working to mitigate threats and minimize damage in the event of a security breach. Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our IT infrastructure.
Recommend and implement appropriate security controls to mitigate identified risks.
Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Participate in incident response activities, assisting with threat containment and remediation.
Analyze security incidents and develop recommendations for future improvements.
Conduct security awareness training for employees.
Maintain accurate documentation of security procedures and incidents.
Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Security Operations Center) to ensure a comprehensive security posture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a cybersecurity analyst role.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and methodologies (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing).
Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a cybersecurity analyst role.
