Summary

As an Information Security Executive at Qualcomm, you'll be a strategic architect, developing and implementing robust security measures to safeguard our sensitive information. Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in Qualcomm's IT systems and infrastructure.
Analyze threat intelligence and stay current on emerging cybersecurity trends to proactively address potential risks.
Design, implement, and manage a variety of security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and data encryption solutions.
Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security considerations into the software development lifecycle.
Conduct security awareness training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
Investigate security incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
Manage and maintain security tools and technologies to ensure optimal performance and effectiveness.
Audit security controls and processes to identify areas for improvement and maintain a strong security posture.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment on security initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 5+ years of experience in information security or a relevant field.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and vulnerabilities.
Experience in conducting security risk assessments and penetration testing (a plus).
Proficiency in security tools and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, data encryption).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A passion for cybersecurity and a desire to stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and solutions.

Experience
