Summary

We are searching for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as a Data Entry Specialist (remote-friendly). In this critical role, you'll be responsible for entering and verifying data into our systems, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information related to user accounts, transactions, and other essential areas. Your meticulous attention to detail will be paramount in ensuring the smooth functioning of PhonePe's financial services.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in computer literacy and a desire to learn. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with excellent typing skills and a commitment to accuracy. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and verify data into various PhonePe databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update existing data records, reflecting any necessary changes or corrections.
  • Process user account information, including registration details and transaction history.
  • Assist with data entry for financial transactions, such as payments, transfers, and investments (if applicable).
  • Generate reports and perform basic data analysis tasks as instructed.
  • Perform data quality checks to identify and rectify any errors or inconsistencies.
  • Adhere to strict data security protocols and maintain confidentiality of sensitive user information.
  • Learn and adapt to new data entry procedures and software applications.
  • Assist other departments with data-related tasks as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in data entry or a similar role (an internship may be considered).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent typing skills with a minimum speed of 30 WPM.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
  • Remote work readiness with strong time management and data entry skills.

Experience:

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 6 months of experience in data entry or a similar role. However, we are also open to considering recent graduates with a strong academic background and a demonstrable interest in the FinTech industry.
