Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and analyzing security systems: You will be responsible for proactively monitoring security logs, event alerts, and threat intelligence feeds to identify potential vulnerabilities and suspicious activities. This includes analyzing data from various sources, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Investigating and responding to security incidents: When a security incident occurs, you will be the first line of defense. You will be responsible for investigating the incident, identifying the root cause, and taking necessary steps to contain the damage and prevent further breaches. This may involve collecting evidence, analyzing logs, and working with other security professionals to remediate the issue.
• Implementing and maintaining security controls: You will play a key role in implementing and maintaining various security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control systems. This may involve configuration management, vulnerability patching, and user onboarding/offboarding procedures.
