Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and industry analysis to understand current economic trends and their potential impact on credit risk.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit reports with clear recommendations for loan approval, denial, or modification of loan terms.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers, underwriters, and other departments to gather information, verify loan applications, and discuss credit decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CFA or CPA designation a plus).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in credit analysis or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and financial statement analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with strong data analysis skills.

Experience
