As a Data Entry and Back Office Specialist (remote-friendly), you'll play a vital role in maintaining data accuracy and supporting various administrative functions within our organization.

Summary

We are searching for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as a Data Entry and Back Office Specialist (remote-friendly). In this versatile role, you'll handle a range of tasks, including meticulous data entry, managing documents, and providing essential back-office support. Your accuracy and efficiency will contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of Flydubai's operations.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in computer literacy and a desire to learn. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous individual with excellent organizational and time management skills. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry:
    • Enter and verify data into various Flydubai databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Maintain and update existing data records, reflecting any necessary changes or corrections.
    • Process flight information, including schedules, bookings, and passenger details (if applicable).
    • Generate reports and perform basic data analysis tasks as instructed.
    • Perform data quality checks to identify and rectify any errors or inconsistencies.
  • Back Office Support:
    • Provide administrative support to assigned departments or teams.
    • Manage calendars and schedules for designated personnel (if applicable).
    • Prepare and maintain accurate records and filing systems (both physical and digital).
    • Process and manage documents, such as invoices, receipts, and other paperwork.
    • Answer phones, screen calls, and direct inquiries to appropriate personnel (if applicable).
    • Assist with travel arrangements and logistics (if applicable).
    • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring timely restocking and efficient use.
    • Perform other administrative duties as assigned, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a data entry or administrative role (an internship may be considered).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent typing skills with a minimum speed of 30 WPM.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
  • Remote work readiness with strong time management and data entry skills.

Experience:

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 6 months of experience in a data entry or administrative role. However, we are also open to considering recent graduates with a strong academic background and a demonstrable interest in the aviation industry.
