Job Summary:
We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of data entry tasks, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information within our banking system. You'll work with various data sources, including customer applications, account documents, and financial transactions. Your strong computer skills and ability to follow procedures will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our bank's data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry and Verification:
- Enter customer data (names, addresses, contact information) into the bank's core banking system accurately and efficiently.
- Verify the accuracy of entered data by comparing it with source documents (identification proofs, application forms).
- Input financial transaction data (deposits, withdrawals, transfers) into the system, ensuring proper coding and classification.
- Proofread and edit data for accuracy and consistency, correcting any errors or inconsistencies found.
- Data Management:
- Maintain and organize electronic files and databases efficiently.
- Backup data regularly as per bank policies and procedures.
- Assist with data archiving and retrieval tasks as needed.
- Customer Service:
- Interact with customers politely and professionally when clarification on data is required.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 10+2 or equivalent qualification (or actively pursuing).
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in data entry applications (MS Office preferred).
- Excellent typing skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
