Job Summary:

As a Retail Sales Associate at Apollo Pharmacy, you'll be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Greeting customers and actively listening to their needs
• Assisting customers in finding the healthcare products they require
• Processing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Providing basic information about over-the-counter medications and healthcare products (within regulatory guidelines)
• Upselling and cross-selling relevant products and services to enhance customer experience
• Maintaining a clean and organized store environment
• Following all company policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Champion: Build rapport with customers, actively listen to their needs, and provide them with a positive and helpful shopping experience.
• Product Knowledge Expert: Gain a strong understanding of our product offerings, including prescription and over-the-counter medications, health supplements, and other healthcare products.
• Sales and Service Excellence: Contribute to store sales targets by effectively upselling and cross-selling relevant products and services.
• Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and provide excellent customer service.
• Accuracy and Efficiency: Accurately process prescriptions and transactions while maintaining a high level of efficiency.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all company safety protocols and ensure all transactions comply with relevant regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service orientation with a genuine passion for helping others
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer literacy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to learn and retain product information
• Adaptable and willing to learn new skills

Experience:

• We welcome both freshers and experienced candidates. For experienced candidates, retail sales experience in a pharmacy setting is a plus.
