Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Accounting Consultant to join our dynamic team. You will provide expert advice and guidance to businesses on a range of accounting and financial matters, helping them optimize their financial processes, achieve their goals, and navigate complex regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, international financial reporting standards (IFRS), and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear and actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct financial analysis and assessments of client businesses to identify areas for improvement
Advise clients on accounting best practices, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance
Develop and implement customized accounting solutions that meet clients' specific needs
Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Prepare financial reports, presentations, and other communication materials for clients
Stay up-to-date on current accounting trends, regulations, and industry best practices
Build strong relationships with clients and understand their unique business challenges
Manage client expectations and deliver projects on time and within budget
Collaborate with internal teams (tax, audit) to provide comprehensive financial services to clients

Required Skills and Qualifications

ACCA qualification (or equivalent) and a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting consulting or a related field (required)
Strong understanding of accounting principles, IFRS, and financial reporting frameworks
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely (written and verbal)
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Project management and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software (optional, but a plus)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
